The Film Connection Scam Does Not Exist!

film connection scamIt's not an easy to undertaking to get into the film industry. There's an old saying in Hollywood, "It's not what you know, but who you know." Another way in is to be associated to someone in the industry. Nepotism do have its advantages.

Some individuals work their way to the top from the bottom up, by being an actor, or work as a crew member and work up to the head of that division. You could sell a screenplay and eventually direct your own movies. Although this is feasible, it is difficult.

Years ago, you would hear about people being found out in pharmacies, or on the street. While this is a remote likelihood, it really does not take place that much these days. It takes a lot of work to get things going even when you are just beginning.

One other way in would be to go to a film school, to learn the art of making motion pictures. Several famous directors like George Lucas, Steven Spielberg, and Oliver Stone went through this procedure.

If you take all the programs offered in universities then film schools can be very costly. You'll need an open spot in order to find a place in the film business.

That being said, there is one more option. Film Connection offers classes in Film Directing, Film Production, Film Editing, Acting, as well as other aspects of the film business.

When you observed the name Film Connection you cannot help but think that this is one more Film Connection scam. Classes do not cost very much and you can get a job once you are finished. It merely sounds fake.

Often this is the case when something seems too good to be true, it usually is. Alternatively, the Film Connection scam doesn't exist.

Once you get into the program offered by Film Connection you are then paired with a professional who will act as your mentor and teach you at the same time. If you want to master Movie Editing then you will be coordinated with a Film Editor that is currently working on a project. You will understand at this persons elbow, and learn the correct way, not from a publication. In other words, you will get practical hands on experience in film editing.

The similar method of learning is applied on other classes under Film Connection. You will make useful contacts within the business, which will get your foot in the door to help you to jump start your career.

This thing is for real and not a Film Connection scam. At any hour check out the internet site, which has links to students who have graduated and are working in the industry.

It is really your decision to spend a fortune on a Film School with no guarantee or spend half the price and get practical instruction and an opportunity to meet important personalities in the industry.

A Film Connection Scam?

recording connection scamOften, when you are a revolutionary in your particular field, there are those that do not like upset the status quo. And when you are Jimi Petulla, the mastermind powering the Film Connection, you are assaulted on all sides because you dared to upset the educational applecart.

There are lots of areas on the internet where you may see Jimi's name associated with Film Connection scam. This is the sad part of being innovative and being prosperous at the same time. Those who think that you are trying to bring down the present educational system will end up labeling the new educational approach a scam despite that reality that it has existed and has produced a number of successful graduates for over 30 years. Sad to say, due to the popularity of the internet, information can spread from one person to another like lightning and anyone can say anything they want and those who read it can or cannot accept is as true.

In order to hear the side of Jimi Petulla, Movie Maker Magazine conducted an interview with him and asked him queries regarding the courses offered. The Film Connection scam is an issue that can topple even the most secure institution thus Jimi made a through explanation regarding his school and why it can be the best option for anyone aiming to become successful in the film business.

Jennifer M. Wood, the host, made a conclusion that the Film Connection is based on the mentor-apprentice concept that has existed since the Renaissance period where one is trained by an expert and is ultimately hired by that person. Back then this concept has been productive and it has worked well for the students at Film Connection.

Jimi said that Film Connection which is a department of Career Connection does not do anything more than paving the way for aspiring persons to land internship options in several film production companies. He further testifies that thousands of beginners have found positions in film, radio and TV companies and stations worldwide.

The interviewer, Jennifer Wood, soon learned that history has shown that most people who are very prosperous in the entertainment business, did not come out of colleges with degrees. Most of these individuals started out by taking odd jobs, they were literally at the bottom of the ladder and worked hard until they were at the top and living the life they have always desired.

A saying that is very relevant in this scenario goes " those that can perform and those who are incapable of teaching." Students are studying under those who live their profession choice every day. Working experts who agreed to teach one of the students under Film Connection will act as instructor and coach to this student. They aren't just teaching but also "demonstrating" students exactly what to do on the working equipment in a real working environment. Those that call this scenario a Film Connection scam are obviously ripoffs themselves and don't have any understanding of true learning and mentorship.

Is There a Film Connection Scam?

recording connection scamIf you are considering working with Film Connection to find a mentor and make your way into the Film industry, then you may have read some type of warning regarding a "Film Connection scam". You should, of course, be careful in choosing what form of education you will receive. Nevertheless, when applying this caution you should take into consideration the type of school and of course the course load, you should not pay a lot of attention to gossips being started by rival schools. The downside is when the client is not satisfied with what he or she is getting he or she can end up defacing the name of that group or company.

Film Connection offers a service to people serious in breaking into the film industry. Film Connection provides you the opportunity to learn what you can by setting you up with a person that is currently working in the industry. If you have impractical expectations like being able to direct a huge movie a few weeks after completing the course then brace yourself for a huge frustration. There is no doubt that the film industry is another business deal and in order to be given the opportunity to make it big you need to pay your dues and of course make a very good impact on those who are in the position.

The Film Connection scam is really the baby of those people who are not happy with the program or those who did not get the outcomes they want. If you begin doing work with a coach through Film Connection thinking that you will become the next Steven Spielberg, then you may be frustrated. However, there is a chance that you can turn out to be a successful director someday if you work hard for you and not expect it to be passed to you on a silver platter.

"Work" is the key word relating to making your apprenticeship a truly helpful experience that can help you construct your future. You will have to work, and you may have to go beyond what is expected of you to really shine. The same thing is relevant even when you are inside college classrooms. Those who slew Film Connection with a lot of negative comments are probably those who assume everything to be served on a silver platter. With Film Connection you get anything that you need to make it to the top, but in order to get there you will need to make use of these tools. Film Connection scam does not exist rather you have the opportunity to succeed as long as you are willing to work hard.

Film Connection Scam

recording connection scamTo wonder if there is certainly a Film Connection scam is normal. Those who hear about the program may initially think that the school is too good to be true, and couldn't possibly live up to its promises. However, Film Connection does have the legal papers and documents to make it a legitimate course along with the remarkable number of its graduates. There are reasons why it is a greater alternative to conventional film colleges. First, it costs a fraction of what you would pay for other film courses. Secondly, it requires a much shorter time commitment, providing students with an intensive, highly focused education in the area of the film business that interests them most.

The most important of all is the truth that this course offers a chance to work in film production companies while working alongside a trainer. The mentor-apprentice set up is important since this can help those who want to pursue a career in the entertainment business hone their skills. Graduates from traditional film schools spend a great amount of time inside the school room and listening to lectures thus they lack the real word experience unlike Film Connection graduates who get to work in real film studios and professionals. That is not a Film Connection scam--that's a shrewd business model, with demonstrable good results.

In Hollywood "who you know" matters the most. A good number of ambitious individuals go to LA or NY hoping to find luck, but if they don't have anyone to back them up achievement can be very faint. (If it's a positive or negative factor that is to be resolved. Perfectly, nepotism presented us Sofia Coppola, Ben Stiller, and Angelina Jolie along with Miley Cyrus, Tori Spellng, and Carnie Wilson.) Film Connection puts you in a promising position by allowing you to work within the industry together with well known personas and professionals. When you have completed the program and are ready to get a paying job, these are the people who can give you the hook up--or even employ you on their own.

Another benefit of Film Connection over traditional film schools is that you can learn right where you live. Pupils needn't move to another city and pay for transferring and room and board. Since movies are created all over the country, internship opportunities can be found all throughout the land. Each internship is custom-designed for each student, with flexible schedules that allow pupils to continue with other schooling and/or their "day" job. For anyone wise enough to distinguish between a great opportunity and a Film Connection scam, the program can be a life-changing experience.

Defacing the Film Connection Scam

recording connection scamFilm Connection is a program that uses the mentor-apprentice set up by putting students under the guidance of mentors that are currently working in several production companies. The course is a lot comparable to an internship. However while many internships involve making coffee, organizing files or doing similarly routine work in exchange for college credit, Film Connection is about studying to make films.

Pupils who signed up for Film Connection gain practical experience by observing and contributing during the making of the film together with their mentor. To better comprehend the idea of film making these students work hand in hand with the team behind the motion picture which that includes the writers, producers, directors, and editors.

Incredibly important, are the professional contacts and connections pupils can make while taking part in a Film Connection mentorship program.

Declaring that the Film Connection scam is true is a big joke.

Not everyone who embarks on a career in the movie business is going to be the next Steven Spielberg. Many individuals who wish to be directors will not even be successful in that. Not because they aren't talented, but merely because there really only is a limited need for television and film directors.

Nevertheless many who embark upon a movie career with the goal of becoming a director will uncover another job in the industry that fulfills them monetarily and allows them to be a part of the movie-making process.

Film Connection presents no guarantee of success to anyone. Nor for that matter do the film schools at NYU or UCLA. There are three things needed in order to succeed in the movie industry and these are talent, ambition, and luck. If you possess those characteristics and apply them, you may already be on your way to success. Film Connection can assist put you on the direct tract to success along with your talent, ambition, and drive.

Many of those who talk about a "Film Connection scam" have probably signed up for the program with unrealistic expectations about what it could or would do for them. It may be because of miscommunication and wrong information or it can also be due to bitterness and let-downs.

But to tag Film Connection a scam because you are having a hard time in the business is tantamount to an unemployed lawyer saying law school was a scam. Achievement will constantly rely on the person. Film Connection, or for that matter, any other type of school or job training program can't guarantee anybody of success. But exactly what it can do is provide the tools, training and connections that will make success more likely to arrive. Exactly where is the Film Connection scam in that?

HAMAS JOINS LOS ANGELES BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU (BBB). GETS A- GRADE

http://bbbroundup.com/LeadStory.htmlApparently, the terrorist organization HAMAS is now a member in good standing with the Los Angeles BBB. HAMAS joined the LA BBB on July 12th of this year and have been given a BBB company ID number of 100096748.

HAMAS is described by the Better Business Bureau as a company who provides educational programs for troubled youth. This sounds like a ‘cleaned up’ description of exactly how HAMAS recruits its members for jihad.

The contact listed for HAMAS is one Bill Mitchell. It may be a co-incidence, but the CEO of the LA BBB is one William Mitchell.

However, five minutes of due diligence reveals that this listing for HAMAS is a joke. Of course, that is five minutes more due diligence than the BBB ever undertook. This speaks volumes about the credibility of the Better Business Bureau. In fact it's all you really need to know to understand just how corrupt the BBB actually is.

BBB COVERUP HAS STARTED-HAMAS LISTING DISAPPEARED

http://bbbroundup.comA little bit past 9AM PST, the LA BBB disappeared their listing for HAMAS. This was predicted yesterday on bbbroundup.com. Unfortunately for the BBB is is too little, too late as many reporters have already seen the A- Grade the LA BBB gave to HAMAS.

The real question now is will the BBB show enough ethics to refund the membership fee they accepted?Original post blogged on bbbroundup.film connection reviews film connection

Reflections on a day well spent.

http://www.bbbroundup.comToday's three news stories on the BBB were the result of months of planning and hard work. The fact that Goldline decided to make their "A+" grade from the BBB the center point of their defense from an ABC News investigation the night before really helped fuel the flames on the stories. I'd like to thank George at the ConnecticutWatchDog.com and Stephanie atMother Jones for jumping on the story early, before the Better Business Bureau disappeared the bogus businesses from their site. Score one for the good guys today.

Without revealing too much, let me just state there's plenty more in the works. There are dozens and dozens of bogus businesses already accredited and in good standing with the BBB. More will be signing up over the next weeks and months.

We've got the BBB's attention. With your help we can finish them off.Original post blogged on bbbroundup.film connection entertainment career connection scam

Film Connection Scam or Not: Is Film Connection Too Great to Be True?

film connection scamEnvision if, as a student of filmmaking, you were scoping out film schools, observing the sometimes-astounding cost of tuition for those educational institutions, and then you discovered another program claiming to give you a similar high quality training (possibly even better) for a tiny fraction of the cost of the other movie schools. Would you come to a conclusion that such offer is nothing but a Film Connection scam?

Regrettably, the Film Connection has become stuck in that type of circumstance. Although they're a fully-accredited school, they provide a system that initially might seem too good to be true - leaving some people thinking if they are a scam.

Nonetheless, there's actually a very sensible explanation why The Film Connection can charge this small and make these promises about their system. The cost is not affected by the quality of their service but rather by the technique the company uses in order to deliver their services.

Film Connection recognized the significance of filmmaking and has come to terms with the reality that in order to master the tricks of the trade one has to encounter it first hand. For hundreds of years artists have learned their craft through hands on training and little or no conventional education, this has then made way for the mentor-apprentice set up. The Film Connection used the mentor-apprentice set up as foundation for their course load. As opposed to using the classic classroom set-up, Film Connection exposes the students to the real world and enables them to learn based on experience. As you can see this approach helps Film Connection reduce the cost they charge for each student while still offering quality training through experience and guidance.

It appears too good to be true, just because it is a completely different strategy than competing schools are utilizing. Nonetheless, labeling an education approach that has been screened and proven through time a Film Connection scam might not be easy.

If the proof of the pudding is in the eating, then the real test of whether or not The Film Connection works is in the many pupils who have come through the program. One film student says this: "A week after I joined the program, I was working on a famous music video which was a fantastic experience. It had been my first opportunity with the course and the week following that I was doing work on a Roger Corman movie which had a budget of about $200,000, and by the time that film was over, I became the second assistant director."

There is only one explanation why the mentor-apprentice set up has been applied for centuries and that is the fact that it actually works. This arrangement has been proven repeatedly and since Film Connection employs this approach and charges very little, is that enough to consider Film Connection a rip-off? Right now, is it really nothing but a Film Connection scam? Well, that is not easy to consider such idea.

The Film Connection - Scam or No Scam?

film connection scamPeople who do not understand the whole idea can simply refer to something as a rip-off, and the Film Connection scam is one of these. A few have lashed out at Film Connection simply because they are discouraged and has gone down to branding the program a rip-off. Nevertheless a great many of these individuals have no idea what they are talking about. Others have an axe to grind because they could be former students who did not finish the program or take advantage of the opportunities it offers.

Others are probably driven by the truth that what Film Connection offers is something that is too good to be true. Knowing that fact is probably one point that has to be regarded. Learning while working at the same time, is that possible? Being shown the business, not by a teacher, but by a real director, producer, writer or cinematographer? It does sound impractical. Luckily, it is all possible.

The Film Connection is an institution that employs the mentor-apprentice set up and provides top quality career education to individuals who desire to make it big in the movie business. If you want a shot at the film business knowing that you have not only the talent but the commitment to work then the Film Connection can help you land that chance.

It is an opportunity for you to master the skills and the ropes of industry with the guidance of a professional who has really worked in the industry himself or herself and simultaneously meet significant people who can help you in the future. Sounds like a Film Connection scam? Definitely not!

The unfortunate truth about movie schools is they charge tens of thousands of dollars and often take years to finish. Upon graduations many students end up with a degree, a mountain of debt and no industry connections bar their fellow unemployed film students and a few teachers who may have never really worked in the professional film industry. If that doesn't seem like a rip-off, what does?

Film Connection places students in the center of the business. This is not to say that everybody who signs up is guaranteed to be the next Steven Spielberg or Quentin Tarantino, but if you are serious, talented and apply yourself you will very likely find work in the industry through working with Film Connection. And who knows, if you are an exceptional talent, you very well may be the next Spielberg or Tarantino.

Film Connection may not be rocket science but it does provide good options. With Film Connections you're able to learn the necessary skills to be prosperous in the film industry and meet people that will help you launch your career in the future. And it does not cost much, wellnot as much as it would original cost when you go to a four year course on film making.

If you are short on the spending budget and doesn't have a lot of time for a four year course in film making then you might want to enlist in the mentorship program by Film Connection. You may find yourself astounded by the path the program takes when you don't listen to stories of a Film Connection scam.

The Film Connection Scam

film connection scamWhen you read a good apprentice program that will help a student land employment in the film industry faster and get better opportunities in comparison to institutions that offer four year courses in film you find yourself wondering whether the Film Connection scam is real or not.

Film Connection, one of the choices provided by Entertainment Career Connection's Mentor-Apprentice that has similar courses for people who want to break into radio or music recording, won't make you Steven Spielberg or get you a ten picture deal with Disney but it does provide the chance to anyone willing to put in the work to break into one of the hardest industries.

Unlike attending a typical film school, "students" are not confined to small classrooms and forced to listen to professors still shopping around the romantic comedy script they wrote in college. In reality, Film Connection is not only an institution it is a course that couples an apprentice with a mentor who will teach him or her about the industry while giving him or her a job at the same time.

Given that the film connection program is focused around students learning and making connections while employed in the real world with real professionals and real equipment, it would be tough to call the program a "Film Connection scam." The mentor-apprentice program gives people the chance to learn in a real movie studio or set setting rather than the out of a text book while also giving you access to countless people who could be the key to getting jobs in film in the future.

If you are one of those who are willing to grab the chance and make the best out of it then you will certainly be successful in this type of academic strategy. It doesn't cost as much but Film Connection provides you with not only the opportunity but also the training that you require so that you can land a job once the course is over and it also helps you make contacts.

To sum up, the talk of a "Film Connection scam" just doesn't make sense considering that the organization does not promise you a job or a prosperous future. The main goal of Film Connection is to offer their students the very best opportunities for hands on instruction to help them learn what they can. Anyone who wants to work in film but has to catch a break to get into the industry ought to jump on the chance offered by Film Connection.
