HAMAS JOINS LOS ANGELES BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU (BBB). GETS A- GRADE

http://bbbroundup.com/LeadStory.htmlApparently, the terrorist organization HAMAS is now a member in good standing with the Los Angeles BBB. HAMAS joined the LA BBB on July 12th of this year and have been given a BBB company ID number of 100096748.

HAMAS is described by the Better Business Bureau as a company who provides educational programs for troubled youth. This sounds like a ‘cleaned up’ description of exactly how HAMAS recruits its members for jihad.

The contact listed for HAMAS is one Bill Mitchell. It may be a co-incidence, but the CEO of the LA BBB is one William Mitchell.

However, five minutes of due diligence reveals that this listing for HAMAS is a joke. Of course, that is five minutes more due diligence than the BBB ever undertook. This speaks volumes about the credibility of the Better Business Bureau. In fact it's all you really need to know to understand just how corrupt the BBB actually is.

BBB COVERUP HAS STARTED-HAMAS LISTING DISAPPEARED

http://bbbroundup.comA little bit past 9AM PST, the LA BBB disappeared their listing for HAMAS. This was predicted yesterday on bbbroundup.com. Unfortunately for the BBB is is too little, too late as many reporters have already seen the A- Grade the LA BBB gave to HAMAS.

The real question now is will the BBB show enough ethics to refund the membership fee they accepted?Original post blogged on bbbroundup.film connection reviews film connection

Reflections on a day well spent.

http://www.bbbroundup.comToday's three news stories on the BBB were the result of months of planning and hard work. The fact that Goldline decided to make their "A+" grade from the BBB the center point of their defense from an ABC News investigation the night before really helped fuel the flames on the stories. I'd like to thank George at the ConnecticutWatchDog.com and Stephanie atMother Jones for jumping on the story early, before the Better Business Bureau disappeared the bogus businesses from their site. Score one for the good guys today.

Without revealing too much, let me just state there's plenty more in the works. There are dozens and dozens of bogus businesses already accredited and in good standing with the BBB. More will be signing up over the next weeks and months.

We've got the BBB's attention. With your help we can finish them off.Original post blogged on bbbroundup.film connection entertainment career connection scam

Film Connection Scam or Not: Is Film Connection Too Great to Be True?

film connection scamEnvision if, as a student of filmmaking, you were scoping out film schools, observing the sometimes-astounding cost of tuition for those educational institutions, and then you discovered another program claiming to give you a similar high quality training (possibly even better) for a tiny fraction of the cost of the other movie schools. Would you come to a conclusion that such offer is nothing but a Film Connection scam?

Regrettably, the Film Connection has become stuck in that type of circumstance. Although they're a fully-accredited school, they provide a system that initially might seem too good to be true - leaving some people thinking if they are a scam.

Nonetheless, there's actually a very sensible explanation why The Film Connection can charge this small and make these promises about their system. The cost is not affected by the quality of their service but rather by the technique the company uses in order to deliver their services.

Film Connection recognized the significance of filmmaking and has come to terms with the reality that in order to master the tricks of the trade one has to encounter it first hand. For hundreds of years artists have learned their craft through hands on training and little or no conventional education, this has then made way for the mentor-apprentice set up. The Film Connection used the mentor-apprentice set up as foundation for their course load. As opposed to using the classic classroom set-up, Film Connection exposes the students to the real world and enables them to learn based on experience. As you can see this approach helps Film Connection reduce the cost they charge for each student while still offering quality training through experience and guidance.

It appears too good to be true, just because it is a completely different strategy than competing schools are utilizing. Nonetheless, labeling an education approach that has been screened and proven through time a Film Connection scam might not be easy.

If the proof of the pudding is in the eating, then the real test of whether or not The Film Connection works is in the many pupils who have come through the program. One film student says this: "A week after I joined the program, I was working on a famous music video which was a fantastic experience. It had been my first opportunity with the course and the week following that I was doing work on a Roger Corman movie which had a budget of about $200,000, and by the time that film was over, I became the second assistant director."

There is only one explanation why the mentor-apprentice set up has been applied for centuries and that is the fact that it actually works. This arrangement has been proven repeatedly and since Film Connection employs this approach and charges very little, is that enough to consider Film Connection a rip-off? Right now, is it really nothing but a Film Connection scam? Well, that is not easy to consider such idea.

The Film Connection - Scam or No Scam?

film connection scamPeople who do not understand the whole idea can simply refer to something as a rip-off, and the Film Connection scam is one of these. A few have lashed out at Film Connection simply because they are discouraged and has gone down to branding the program a rip-off. Nevertheless a great many of these individuals have no idea what they are talking about. Others have an axe to grind because they could be former students who did not finish the program or take advantage of the opportunities it offers.

Others are probably driven by the truth that what Film Connection offers is something that is too good to be true. Knowing that fact is probably one point that has to be regarded. Learning while working at the same time, is that possible? Being shown the business, not by a teacher, but by a real director, producer, writer or cinematographer? It does sound impractical. Luckily, it is all possible.

The Film Connection is an institution that employs the mentor-apprentice set up and provides top quality career education to individuals who desire to make it big in the movie business. If you want a shot at the film business knowing that you have not only the talent but the commitment to work then the Film Connection can help you land that chance.

It is an opportunity for you to master the skills and the ropes of industry with the guidance of a professional who has really worked in the industry himself or herself and simultaneously meet significant people who can help you in the future. Sounds like a Film Connection scam? Definitely not!

The unfortunate truth about movie schools is they charge tens of thousands of dollars and often take years to finish. Upon graduations many students end up with a degree, a mountain of debt and no industry connections bar their fellow unemployed film students and a few teachers who may have never really worked in the professional film industry. If that doesn't seem like a rip-off, what does?

Film Connection places students in the center of the business. This is not to say that everybody who signs up is guaranteed to be the next Steven Spielberg or Quentin Tarantino, but if you are serious, talented and apply yourself you will very likely find work in the industry through working with Film Connection. And who knows, if you are an exceptional talent, you very well may be the next Spielberg or Tarantino.

Film Connection may not be rocket science but it does provide good options. With Film Connections you're able to learn the necessary skills to be prosperous in the film industry and meet people that will help you launch your career in the future. Film Connection, one of the choices provided by Entertainment Career Connection's Mentor-Apprentice that has similar courses for people who want to break into radio or music recording, won't make you Steven Spielberg or get you a ten picture deal with Disney but it does provide the chance to anyone willing to put in the work to break into one of the hardest industries.

Unlike attending a typical film school, "students" are not confined to small classrooms and forced to listen to professors still shopping around the romantic comedy script they wrote in college. In reality, Film Connection is not only an institution it is a course that couples an apprentice with a mentor who will teach him or her about the industry while giving him or her a job at the same time.

Given that the film connection program is focused around students learning and making connections while employed in the real world with real professionals and real equipment, it would be tough to call the program a "Film Connection scam." The mentor-apprentice program gives people the chance to learn in a real movie studio or set setting rather than the out of a text book while also giving you access to countless people who could be the key to getting jobs in film in the future.

If you are one of those who are willing to grab the chance and make the best out of it then you will certainly be successful in this type of academic strategy. It doesn't cost as much but Film Connection provides you with not only the opportunity but also the training that you require so that you can land a job once the course is over and it also helps you make contacts.
